Brooks Kidd
Brooks Kidd is an alum of the 20th season of American Idol, receiving a Golden Ticket to Hollywood.
He participated in the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts in 2020 and was selected to perform in the KMEA All-State honors choir every year possible. He has performed in venues such as the Kentucky Center for the Arts, Whitaker Bank BallPark, and Carnegie Hall. He now studies Music Business at Eastern Kentucky University as an Honors student. In addition to school, he writes, releases, and performs both standalone and with his band “McKane.”
McKane
McKane is a Kentucky-based rock band led by vocalist Brooks Kidd. They have performed across Kentucky at venues and music festivals, including London, Kentucky’s Red, White, and Boom Festival and the World Chicken Festival. They perform a variety of songs to genre-bend some of music’s biggest hits to a unique rock style.
